I’ve been out of the blogging loop for awhile. While I’ve been finishing up my MA in English Literature and 18 MA hours in Psychology, my own fiction writing (who am I kidding? My own life in general) has taken a hit. And, like the people frustrated with academia everywhere, I am currently without student loans or a job while finishing my thesis and defense due to “circumstances beyond my control.” That is, issues with my thesis committee and with my university’s administration. Let’s just say, it’s enough to make the calmest and most Zen person feel stabby.
These frustrations have spurred me to expand my media and artistic empire (heh), though, so while I will soon be intently working on my book 2 of “Fallen Down World,” I am also moving back into creating art (including paintings and work with sculpture and clay), which will be sold in part, through my Etsy shop “Once Upon a Wine” here: https://www.etsy.com/shop/kristopiastudios
I will also be launching a Youtube channel soon under the name of “Eyefeelstabby,” which will present an often tongue-in-cheek view of the world of perimenopause, where we will discuss views of middle aged life in general and the things that make us feel stabby. We will also have stabby crafty segments, stabby reviews (of movies, books, etc.), and whatever else just needs killin’…I mean, discussed.
